An eclectic artist, Daniel is a Brooklyn-based composer, sound designer, writer and visual artist. Primarily focused on audio for the last ten years, he has designed sound and created musical compositions for concerts and theater and video productions, and has had the good fortune to collaborate with a plethora of incredibly talented musicians, performers and theater companies.
Daniel's diverse musical background as a classically-trained composer, multi-instrumentalist (including guitar, saxophone, double bass and percussion), and electro-acoustic musician allow him to compose in many different genres of music, ranging from experimental electronic and rock to full symphonic scores. He studied at New York University, the Mannes School of Music, and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College C.U.N.Y. in New York City.
Daniel is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), an executive committee member for the New York City Electro-Acoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF) and the New York City Electro-Acoustic Music Society (NYCEMS), a member of the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS), the American Composers Forum (ACF).
